Sun Salute Summer School

Sun Salute Summer School w/ Angie
7:00 to 7:30am Monday thru Thursday
June 10 to June 27
$45 for the entire 12-class series or $5 per class
(Included in Unlimited Memberships and 100 Days of Summer Package)

You can join a class at the Bismarck studio or online, just roll out a mat.

School might be out for Summer but we are still in session with this special 30-minute 12-class series in June

Rise and Shine and build your practice or return to the basics.

The sun salutations are a complete practice within themselves, offering a solid foundation to strengthen and open the body slowly. In this class, we will break down the sun salutation flow, the breath, and the focus points (dristi).

Most importantly we will show up daily (almost) to develop a habit of starting every day with this healing and invigorating practice.

We will also learn simple pranayama techniques to help balance the nervous system and introduce and chant a few Sanskrit mantras.

In summer it's easy to get distracted and not come to class.  Get on your mat.

Ashtanga Yoga: Exploring the Primary Series

Ashtanga Yoga: Exploring the Primary Series
6 Week Series
Presented by Angie Kambeitz
$149 for all six sessions or $30 for individual sessions

Wednesday, 7:00pm to 8:30pm
January 10 to February 21, 2024
(No class on February 14)
Class size is limited to 15, save your spot early.

Do you know the literal meaning of Ashtanga?

The word Ashtanga is comprised of two Sanskrit words, “Ashta” and “Anga.” “Ashta” refers to the number eight, while “Anga” means limb or body part. Therefore, Ashtanga is the union of the eight limbs of yoga, into one complete, holistic system.

Join Angie in a six week exploration of the Primary Series of Ashtanga.  Each week you'll refine a small portion of the practice and continue to build your strength, stamina and prana.

Some of the topics you'll cover:

* Sanskrit language, timing and vinyasa count for a led class

* Alignment of postures and best ways to enter and exit postures to prevent injury

* Breaking down the series into smaller bites and learning to weave them together

* Breath or Pranayama techniques

* Why drishti is important

* Whatever other awesomeness Angie shares in class

Class is for the beginner and seasoned Ashtanga student

You'll meet every Wednesday at our Biasmarck location from 7:00pm to 8:30pm

January 10 - Sun Salutations

January 17 - Standing postures

January 24 - Seated postures 1

January 31 - Seated postures 2

February 7 - Finishing postures

February 21 - Putting it all together

There are a two options to attend this series, you can attend all six (6) classes or pick one class.
