My yoga practice started over 10 years ago by watching yoga videos with my mom. Yoga was a journey that we started together and have both fallen in love with. Since then I’ve gone in and out of a consistent practice. Every time I have taken a break from yoga I have always come back.

I regained my yoga practice in January of 2017. I had a knee injury and was unable to do many activities I enjoyed. Practicing yoga helped my knee recover and slowly gain its strength back. A few months after I started my practice again I began to notice a positive internal shift. The more I practiced yoga (on and off the mat) the more I realized the many benefits besides just the physical aspects. Yoga helped me to find the courage to make necessary changes in my life that have helped me grow.

As a teacher I want to create a safe environment to help students explore their practice like I have been able to. I completed my 200hr yoga teacher training at Transitions Yoga in June 2018, and I’m excited to start this next chapter of my yoga journey. As a teacher, and a student, I love moving with the breath in Vinyasa Flow. I’m excited to continue learning more about different styles of yoga so that I can share them with others. Even though I have finished my yoga teacher training, I feel like it is never truly over!
